Before the renewal, POMULU was only available in one color: black. While we received many positive comments such as "It goes well with any outfit!", we also received comments from those who were considering purchasing it and those who actually use it.

The story behind the development of color variations
The fabric was chosen with safety in mind for holding a child in mind, and was also designed to be durable and washable, and the color variations were then decided based on that fabric. For example, there are many different shades of pink, so the staff discussed which pink would be easy to match with fashion and which would be a desirable item for parenting, and produced many samples.
The color variations were selected and samples were made based mainly on the opinions of female staff. We conducted trial and error even on the smallest details, such as whether a single tone would be better or a two-tone look with partial coloring.
We were worried about this until the very last moment, but in the end, the opinions of current moms were adopted, and that's how we ended up with the current color scheme.

Looking back on the renewal
To be honest, despite our desire to meet all of the requests we received, it was extremely difficult to bring what we had envisioned to life.
We proceeded with development by taking into consideration each and every piece of feedback we received, including roundtable discussions with users, surveys on social media, feedback from try-on events, comments at various purchasing locations, and direct messages.
After much trial and error, we came up with a way to create a product that would make people say, "This is exactly what I wanted," without losing any of the good points of the product, and by actively collecting feedback such as "I wish it was more like this."
Additionally, most of the development team are parents who are actively raising children, so we were able to actually try out the product and discuss areas for improvement, which we believe boded well for the renewal.
A word from the project manager
We had been planning color variations since the beginning of sales of Pomme, but we were finally able to implement them after about a year of trying to meet customer feedback and requests.
