The POMULU 2WAY Hip Seat will be exhibited at the Maternity & Baby Festa 2024 in Yokohama on Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th, 2024! The event was attended by over 30,000 pregnant and child-rearing families.
On the day, POMULU held a try-on experience and a limited sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Many people tried out POMULU products and the stock sold out on both days!

●Ryo Iwashima
Representative of REALIZE LLC. Father of two children (ages 11 and 8).

We exhibited with the hope that people would actually try POMULU. Both days were sold out!

Q: What motivated you to participate in this event?

Hayashida: Currently, POMULU is mainly sold online. Therefore, we were concerned that there are few opportunities for people to actually hold their child in POMULU and check how much it reduces strain on the body and how comfortable it is for their child to sit in. This time, we decided to exhibit so that people could actually try it on.

Iwashima: Because it was a big event, we also wanted to let people who didn't know about the 2WAY Hip Seat know how convenient it was.

Q Regarding the limited sale of try-on experiences.

Hayashida: We had limited sales at this event, and thankfully, they sold out on both days.

Iwashima: Tickets for the first day sold out pretty quickly, so we quickly sold out tickets for the second day on the first day as well.

Hayashida: We brought even more on the second day, but they also sold out quickly.

Iwashima: People who put it on hold saying, "I'll think about it for a bit," would come back after touring the event saying, "I'll buy it after all!" and by the time they came back, it was already sold out...

Hayashida: I'm very sorry to have caused disappointment to our customers...

■Many people say, "It's so comfortable!" The "Lumbar Support Cross" is also very popular.

Q: What kind of customers stopped by your booth?

Hayashida: That's right. I get the impression that there are more people who are hesitant to buy than before, saying, "I was interested, but I need to try it on first..." You can't know if it really makes holding your baby easier or if it suits your lifestyle unless you actually try it on.

Iwashima: Some people were worried about what to do if their child didn't like it. But when they actually held their child using POMULU, they showed a big smile, and it made us smile too. (laughs)

Hayashida: It was so stable that quite a few people ended up taking it home with them, saying, "I forgot I was using POMULU." (laughs)

Q: What are the impressions of people who have actually experienced holding a baby at POMULU?

Hayashida: Thankfully, many people have told me, "It's so easy!"

Iwashima: Simply put, there were a lot of "easy!" moments.

Hayashida: We received a lot of feedback, such as "it's easy" because it feels lighter to hold, "it's easy" because it leaves one hand free, "it's easy" because it can be used as a shoulder bag and reduces the amount of luggage you have to carry, etc. But hearing people say it's "easy" made us happy, as it seemed to convey our desire to make holding a baby a little easier and more enjoyable.

Q: What features of POMULU were particularly well-received during the try-on experience?

Hayashida: The POMULU 2WAY Hip Seat's advertised features of "turning the shoulder bag into a hip seat" and "turning the hip seat into a shoulder bag" are certainly recommended, but in talking with people at the venue, I felt that the feature that most interested them was the "lumbar support cross" feature.

Iwashima: Yes, I've heard people say they chose POMULU because it has a "lumbar support cloth."

Hayashida: Children are often unpredictable; they might suddenly arch their back while you're holding them, or suddenly fall asleep. With the "Lumbar Support Cross," you can support the lower back just by placing your hands on them, giving moms and dads peace of mind. This is definitely something we want you to know.

Iwashima: It provides a stable hold, so I think it's safe to use even on babies who have just started to sit up.

■We plan to continue offering try-on experiences in the future. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions you may have!

Q: What are your plans for future fitting experiences?

Iwashima: In addition to the event, we plan to hold try-on sessions at various locations, including shopping malls! We won't necessarily be selling the products on the day, but our staff will give a thorough lesson on how to use them. Some people have already purchased the products and come asking questions like, "Is this the correct way to use them?" Of course, we'll teach you step-by-step, so please feel free to come!
We will be updating information about the fitting experience sessions on our website and official LINE account, so please check it out.

Hayashida: If you're even slightly interested, we'd love for you to try it on, so please feel free to contact us anytime via Instagram DM or email!

Iwashima: All of our staff sincerely hope that this will make it easier for parents to hold their babies and that families can enjoy raising their children together...!

Q Finally, please say a few words to everyone who came to the event and those who are interested.

Hayashida: Thank you so much to everyone who came to the event, even though there were so many booths! I'm very happy that so many people were interested, including those who actually tried on the products and those who were concerned about them even though their children aren't yet of the right age. I hope you will continue to support POMULU.

Iwashima: To everyone who has shown an interest in POMULU, we hope to continue our activities from now on! We look forward to meeting you all.
